August 2 Nebraska PD here. I'll be completing 7 months next week. I see few approvals for July, hopefully they will start working on august cases soon.

Yesterday my husband called USCIS to get some news because we. Have seen some middle end of August cases being approved and we are still on the wait. The operator told us that the systeam shows that there is nothing wrong with our case. Therefore she thinks that we must be in a big pile of cases to be reviewed, as the centes work by loads.  In the end she said that if until mid March we did not received our noa2, we definately should open a request.

 

So, now I am anxious bacause I don't want to wait until March to get approved. To keep going, I have been focusing in cleaning the house this entire week and I will continuos to do so to distract my mind a bit of it.

Yes, is frustrating and that , but, when I look back ,and remember in late August 2017 that I received NOA1, and the path was way long that now, I was at the very beginning! 

The Journey is getting to the half, but the tuff half is behind us now. NVC stage is very different, it's more active, you see the progress, not like the time from NOA1 to NOA2, that is literally, sit and wait!

In your case @Pamela.J your NOA 2 is imminent! I really really hope that you get it by the end of this month, but, if by the middle of March, hasn´t arrived, your husband should make an inquiry of the case!

Congratulations, yes, 6 months is the average time from NOA1 to NOA2 (all service centers except NSC) of course!

But congratulations!  Lol, the Happy Dance! Tradition in VJ!

Probably middle March / early April they start "touching" August filers and finishing late July cases, the funny thing is that this thread will have the poster HOT!  permanently with all the approvals!

Nothing , the one thing that I´m expecting is the answer abpout the case number, the NOA2 I´m expecting it middle / late April!

Aw that’s a long wait for u  .. I was trying to get the the nvc to check if they get my case but the line is very busy taking off all my minutes . I hope they received it already though

Yes, try to  insist and know if they already received the case, good luck with that, I´m also trying to keep my mind busy, this wait brings a lot of anxiety, but with the anxiety we didn´t solve anything right! 

I hope you get your NVC Welcome letter reaally soon!

Please don't stress over it ..just take comfort in what they said that there is nothing wrong with ur case ...the waitis hard for everyone...pd august 16 potomac ..still waiting..keep positive. .everything will be fine soon:)

Few of the august 1 and august 2 NSC cases are approved in USCIS app. Anybody in this thread got lucky ?

Wait, what, a few NSC cases from very early august are being approved yet, WOW, can´t see this happening, after long 6 months of wait, my PD getting closer and closer!
