Yes.I feel so bad for you..you were supposed to get your interview date by this time..my PD is August 10.But I got my interview date already..Just ask your husband to go to the idiot lawyer's place and finish everything on that day.Don't wait for any other day.. Basically the lawyer has to fill Affidavit of Support form and send the papers. This much he can't do? God!! Then what they are for man. Here the couple are separated for one year .they should understand that.Did you send your documents to your husband??

I’m so stressed out. I don’t know what else to do. I feel like I should just take my mind off the whole thing. I sent all copies of my civil documents that is required for the IV package to my husband. I even received a email from NVC saying they will not review these documents until we received the Affidavit of Support forms or supporting financial evidence required for this case. Because I sent in the DS260 a month ago.

His office is in Miami. My husband lives in West Palm Beach. I told him to go to his office and he keeps on saying he’s giving him until next week to reply. My PD is August 23 so it’s almost one year.

Is your lawyer named Trump?  hmm...i have news for you.. jk.

Our lawyer wasn't so hot.. many mistakes in the app that we had to correct ourselves and couldn't really answer any questions, so we had to goto the immigration office ourselves.

Sounds like your lawyer gave up on you.  I would read the contract and maybe sue him in a small claims court.   Send the application yourself.

Good luck.

You simply do one thing..Go to the lawyer and ask him to send everything out..If it won't happen. Then you call NVC and ask them as can you send the documents without the help of the lawyer..if they say yes..Go on..Ask your husband to fill Affidavit of Support by downloading and filling by himself..You scan your documents and ask him to print those out.Gather both of your documents, make a package and send those out..Forget about the lawyer..

Hi Mohammad,

I'm in the same situation too, I'm an American and petitioned for my Syrian wife. her interview is next month.
I have heard of some friends that they got the Visa after five days, some others got it after a month.
I just wanted to ask you about the question they asked your wife to answer, is it a form and has a number ? i want to make sure my wife hand them this form during the interview and not after.
Also did you submit a waiver during the interview or the counselor did it for her ?
I wish you the best of luck.

Hi adam... are these visas you refer to syrian spouse visas? If so does the visa annotation say something like presidential proclamation waived?
