Oh my dear friend, you always bringing positive vibes to this thread! We are ending, last night I have a dream, that I received interview letter but instead of Bogota there was going to be in Otawa! (yes, my brain opened a new U.S consulate in Canada) Hahahaha It doesn´t matter,let´s travel and know new countries it´s the interview right, hahahaha!

You found yourself giving interview in Canada Instead of your country??  That's so funny.But at least you could dreamt of giving Interview in the USA itself 😁😁😁😁  in real my interview place is 1258 miles far from my place..Becoz in India there are only two consulates which handles Immigrant visa cases ..Rest are handling non immigration cases 😭😭😭 literally I have to book a whole week plan for Medical, biometrics and interview which includes flight and hotel booking. 😑😑 What about you?? How far is your consulate?

OMGodness! Really, wow, that´s astonishing!

Well, that conditions requieres that you perfectly have all well calculated!

I live here in the same Bogota, I´m in the North of the city and consulate is located near West, is not far, like 2 hours in taxi BUT , when my wife arrives for the interview, we are going to stay in a Hotel that is very very near from the Embassy, we are not going to depend on traffic, a car, taxi on anything, that is going to be go down stairs, walk a couple of blocks (that are is extremely secure) and arrive early at the Embassy!

Compared with the travel that you have to do! Mine is nothing! Not even a bug compared with yours!

Also Medical centers and CAS are very near here from were I live!

Good luck planning all your stuff! Let us know when the time arrives ok ( That´s going to be reaaaaally soon ok)!

Yes.You are lucky as the consultate is near.But my case is really unfortunate. Becoz I live in the extreme East and the consulate is in the extreme west. That's why getting an interview letter will engage me in lot of works.And as you decided to stay in a hotel I must tell you it's the best decision.Don't take any risk especially for the traffic on the day of interview.

Yes my dear friend, we are not going to take any kind of risks, we are going to be extremely close, just to be walk down the elevator stairs, or whatever and walk to the embassy!

Your case is difficult, because India is a very big country, but I remember that I once was reading that the medicals were extremely fine (from more than one member I read) and that te US consulate is not difficult! So you are not going to have any troubles ok, everything is going to be smooth and quick!

Actually India itself is very big country.People here in India are mostly helpful and welcoming..I hope everything will go smoothly.Waiting for it..I always tell my self if I can travel so far to be with my husband.Then this is smaller distance compared to that.I have to do everything in order to be with my love.it's almost a year we are apart except from the last 3 weeks vacation in February. I will also pray for you so that you can be with your wife and son Soon my friend.😊😊

Yes, being in the other side of te world is difficult  I, many times think about those couples like you that have a lot of hours of difference, a lot of miles away, that makes the distances extremely big, my wife and I are talking all the time (except when she´s working) , being only with 1 hour of difference makes us feel closer, but those cases with the inmense Ocean in the middle, WOW you are brave, I admire u a lot!

I can´t complain, the only arrange that I have to do here is to cancel my cellphone services nearest to the date that I´m planning to fly and that´s all...

The big move was from Cuba to here, but the move from here to U.S it´s easiest!
