US embassy in Bogota allows the spouses to attend the interview with you, my wife is going to come, I suggest you that do the same, and you can see your wife that is the most important thing!

That's true. I'm afraid because for the Taxes my Co-sponsor has like 50 pages (IRS) and I would assume he needs them!

sorry, this may be a stupid question but i'm just trying to figure out the next steps. I'm overseas as the beneficiary  and only put my physical address on the forms (it asked for physical address) as i don't have a personal mailing address, we don't get post here there are only PO Boxes on my island. Everything goes via work PO Box and it takes weeks to make it's way through the internal post so i never use it! plus i'm on a contract so do not want to tell work until i'm actually putting in my notice. 

we got the NOA1 and NOA2 to my husbands address in the USA (petitioner) 

where does the welcome pack and everything else get sent to?! it looks like it says they contact me the beneficiary..  but how?!

WOW, 50 pages, well, bring them, go to the embassy with the most that you can,all WHAT THEY ASK , AND DON´T GIVE  THEM ANYTHING THAT THEY DON´T REQUEST, Looks like that irritates the interviewer, my friend refresh my memory, do you receive CC in wich date, and interview date in wich date! Just to have an estimated timeframe of the date that I possibly receive mine...

CC on June 13th. And interview scheduled June 29th.

 

Interview date: August 9th.

 

I was told that the consulate schedules the interviews by the end of each moth.

Im  living in Jamaica. I don’t have a personal mailing address either. I used my Husband mailing address in USA, he’s the petitioner so everything goes to his address.

So, they take 17 days to schedule your interview! Hmmmm, ok, is just to have an idea!

that's what i thought, but i'm not sure where we would have specified that? we got NOA2 and it said they would contact me.. but it's been so long i  can't remember where we would have said to only contact him? this process is stressful...

NVC things are all via e-mail, you don´t have to be worried about that! All arrives via E-mail.

NOA´s 1 and 2 they DO arrive thru post mail in U.S!

Stay tuned with the e-mail! NVC will reach you thru there!

Your welcome letter supposed to go to the same address as your NOA2 unless you change address. You can call NVC to find out more information.

thank you! i guess we just keep waiting then! he called and it went to the department of state on the 15th June... apparently we can chase it up / check online 6 weeks from that date.....  wonder if this will all be over before the end of September?

thank you! that makes sense!  just fed up with all the waiting.. and then we it's all over i still have to give 3 months notice for work! i really want to be with my husband for Christmas...

Yes, plenty of time, your case will be completed in August! After they issue your case number , the process go really fast!
