Hi!  I'm new on here so may have missed if it's been said before, but I"ll ask and hope someone might have insight.

I am a US citizen and filed a I-130 for my spouse in Aug 2017.  I got the NOA1 Aug 16th and was sent to Texas service center.  As I have watched the processing updates on the USCIS site, I have noticed that the I-130's that were petitioned by permanent residents are several months ahead of the I-130's petitioned by US citizens.  According to the site, this is true in several other service centers as well, though in some locations the difference in minimal.  In the Texas center, permanent residents who filed a I-130 are 4 months ahead of US citizens who filed an I-130 for their spouse.

I know the June I-130's are getting their NOA2's now (yay!) but I'm curious if there seems to be any difference in if ALL of the filers are getting their approvals at the same time, or if in practice the US citizens are waiting a few more months for them to come out.  I"m just trying to gauge the wait...well aren't we all? :)   Trying to figure out if we really should expect a NOA2 in 2months or so or if it could be 2 months plus a few more for us.  I asked this on the June filers thread but no one responded.  I'm wondering if here anyone has noticed a pattern that has been tracking and following along the forums over the past months.

I did just update it prior to my post. Are you not able to see it. We sent ours in 3rd week of August.

Not sure you're in the right forum. Looks like you did AOS, not IR-1/CR-1... please don't make us feel bad with a seemingly super fast approval :(

But... congratulations anyhow, wish I could have done AOS.

Hi all. Our PD is August 4 (Potomac). We filed out a case status inquiry because we have not received our NOA2 yet (and the  receipt number STILL doesnt work even though we called and they said it would get fixed in november) ... and they replied that our application is in line to be reviewed by an officer. Sigh. We had filed for a K3 but I understand that it will probably be a IR1 (married 5 years). It's so hard to be far from each other.
