Sent documents on 06/20.Documents reached NVC on 06/25..

Today husband called and NVC notified the Scan date is- 06/27..Any idea how long it will take to get a Case complete??

They say 6 weeks, but, but it´s not taking 6 weeks, I would say the half of that time! 3 weeks I´m thinking!

Yes they said 6weeks.But I don't think it takes that long.I guess my first week too. I pray that both of us get Cc as soon as possible.This wait is more than I ever thought of. I had so much patience inside me I didn't even know.Only NVC taught me that.😁😜

@ms_bobdog In the page of status of CEAC (This One) is this page were you also check the Visa Status, if issued, collect passport etc.. once that you go to the Embassy and attend the interview and that right?

Yes, this page will give you all the updates of your case from the time NVC issues you the case number. It will show 'At NVC' when it is a case complete, and then 'In Transit' when it is on its way to the embassy. Once the embassy receives it, it will show 'Ready'. Your interview details will be emailed to you. After the interview, the status may change to "Administrative Processing' (never happened for me though) and then finally 'Issued'.

Hahaha, no I don´t think 6 weeks either, BUT, both my wife and I as a matter of mind preparing, we both are prepared for the longest times! So we are looking to August 2 (6 full weeks) if CC arrives first, well, better, and then praying and keeping our fingers crossed that Colombian U.S Embassy Schedules our interview fast!

I have read about people freaking out for being placed on administrative processing, so I decided to just give a thorough explanation. It really is nothing more than some administrative work they do after approving you for a visa at the interview and before printing the actual visa. You may have read about people going into AP for a long time, but those are cases that weren't approved at the interview.
