Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing well and get your case # soon! Yesterday, 8 weeks exactly after our case arrived at the NVC, we got our Case #! I called today and was able to get our Invoice ID # as well. I am able to access the DS-261 application online but the worker who I talked to today said I can't do anything until I receive the welcome packet that they are mailing to my U.S. address (which supposedly can take up to 4 weeks). Is this true or can I go ahead and submit the DS-261 right now since I have the case # and Invoice ID #? Thanks so much for all your help and support! Sending best thoughts to everyone as well!

Hi ya all.

 

I called nvc and got invoice number and receipt number and when i am trying to log in with receipt number and invoice number its giving me error saying the case you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by national visa centre at this time. Did anyone had same problem? i havent received welcome letter yet though.

he has go to local municipal corporation with certificate he has and explained the situation and ask him to get his school living certificate, driving licence or adhar card to verify his identity and they will be able to issue new birth certificate with name on it.

Hi guys,I´ve been out of here, but don´t want high stress levels,  just trying not to think abt this process, last monday my wife called NVC and they told her 8 weeks, they received the case on Apr 4 .

On June 1st we are going to call them just to see if the miracle happens.

My cuban papers are here too, arrived a week ago and we are ready to NVC , next week we are going to assemble the 3 packages.

I have a question, how long is it taking currently from Case number to , at least Case complete and ready for an interview, coz I know that embassy times are different due to many reasons.

Anyone knows?

Don't login it yet wait for a few days to a week until u get the email of the welcome letter only then they usually open the links , but each link with the payment takes usually a week each so don't rush on it and send ur documents yet , submit or mail ur documents in only after u are able to complete IV application after ur payment of 325$ is cleared and the IV application is open .

i was able to log in today but i had spelling mistake on my spouse name and i did called USCIS twice for the same and they have informed me that they have corrected the error before they send to NVC but name is still spell incorrect. Should i call nvc or USCIS now to solve the issue.

 hi guys just a question my brother in law is going to be our Joint sponsor. 

he filed 2015 year taxes with he's wife and 2016 year taxes alone. 

Do we have to present the IRS Tax Transcript of my wife and him only right. 

The taxes of his wife NOT? 

Please somebody answer me if knows this ASAP.

But to filling the I864....

get his transcript from IRS website for 2015/16/17. no need of his wife transcript since she is not sponsorer. they will only see how many depends he has and how much he earns.

Ok thanks, so only my brother in law who´s income is much more of the required Thanks GOD, so no need of his wife transcropt , no need of anything more!

2017 are not avaiable yet, we are going to show at the embassy (in that time they are going to be avaiable), we have in hand 2015 and 2016!

you can go online and get transcript. i have got mine last week. all you have to do is create id. it will be easy

YEs, we requested online, but are not avaiable yet, he waited untill last minute for this, are not avaiable!

So my wife is going to fill the I864 , and he need to fill another I864 right!?
