I think the 4 day weekend really slowed things down a bit, but at least you got the visa now!

Its such a great feeling when its delivered!

Its funny thinking about your fiance booking his flight a few days away, I did that myself. I recieved my visa at 1pm on friday, tried to get a flight for sat, no luck  But I DID get one for the sunday!

Oh hell, we had actually looked at flights the next day, but either his dad would have had to taken off work to take him, or he would have had to shell out a lot more money for a taxi or something. And then his mom is pretty upset about him leaving and at least wants to be able to go with him to the airport and she wasn't able to take off anymore (she works for a school) so.. thats why its the weekend. Otherwise I'd be getting him today! lol (we had planned on the beginning of last week anyway)

My mum was the same way, she was like I am taking you to the airport and you will be spending a day with me before this!

Just remember to tell your fiance if he has a connecting flight....wouldn't want him thinking there was just the one. :P

LOL!! He really is such a smart man, but about this whole visa thing, I've totally been more informed and I wasn't the one who actually had to go through it. Even yesterday when I called him on my lunch, I was like and it had the visa in it, right? Big colorful thing? He's like nope, there wasn't anything like that.. just some white thing. I was like, are you sure they gave you a visa? lol He thought maybe it was inside the brown envelope and they just basically give it to you at the airport.. He later went home (he had been at his friends house while we were talking) and found the big colorful thing I was talking about lol Good thing I love that man. :)
