How long is medical good for?

Everyone on here says the medical is good for one year. My husband had his medical in London and on the sheet from him it says 6 months. I emailed them and they said 6 months. I just don't want to get an rfe for it

For adjusting status from a K1 it is supposed to be valid for a year but I have seen cases where the adjudicating officer has requested a new one.

 

The only thing I can say with absolute certainty is that mine was more than 6 months between medical and AOS approval & I had no issues.

 

Your visa will be valid for 6 months from the date of the medical

6 months to travel to the US. 1 year for AOS.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
