Maybe a silly question, but do the photographs required for the medical and for the Embassy need to be standard passport or the US visa ones like the petition?

Also I wear glasses full time, on the petition it tells you not to wear them for the photo, should I not wear them for these additional photos?

For Knightsbridge doctors (where you will have the medical) you can use either size. For the embassy, they must be US size (the machines in Tescos do US size photos).

As as of November last year, all pictures must be without glasses.

The petition, Form I-129F, Instructions, in particular, call for passport-style photograph photos with "glossy finish."

Most other forms and instructions, as I see, specify matte or glossy, or do not specify finish type.

Knightsbridge clinic in London doesn't care which size, but the 4 pictures should be identical. They are just to put ID on each page of your medical report. They are not official visa pictures like the US embassy needs and later your AOS/EAD/AP need.
