Hi all,

I had my interview at the American consulate general in Jerusalem on July 5th. They informed me in the end of the interview that my visa is approved and I will get it in 2 weeks. It has been 36 days and it is not yet issued. The visa status check says "Application received" for the last few weeks, date is being updated almost twice a week, but no change in status. Last Wednesday I got an e-mail with questions to answer, asking about any ties to Africa or Liberia specifically. Did anyone have to wait this long? And if anyone got the e-mail I mentioned, when did you get your visa afterwards?

I would appreciate any help :)

Thank you very much

Thank you for the reply. I did send them an e-mail three weeks ago, and they said it is in final review and authorization, and once it is issued they will send me the passport with the documents. Two days ago, we sent another e-mail, but they haven't replied yet. I have read some cases in which people have waited for 25 days, but I haven't seen yet cases with longer period. I also booked the tickets based on what they told me in the interview. I guess I should wait, it is just a bit worrying to not know when it will be issued.

Thanks again
