Greetings all.

I met and married the best person I've ever met last year and now we're putting our immigration petition packet together.  I've discovered a few docs that she needs to have translated and shipped to me in Maine and we're a little bummed at the delay.  I'm finding out that acquiring Residency in Ukraine is a relative walk in the park compared to this adventure.

After stumbling around the USCIS site I found VJ and started scanning the Guides.  I noticed the G 325 and thought I'd jump right to it then noticed it expired in June.  Then I started wondering what the I 130a was about since it seems to do the same job.  IIRC there was no mention of the 325 on the CIS site and of course now, I can't find it.  So it appears the guide needs an update.

What I have completed so far:

I 130

I 130a

G 1145

Complete copy of my passport

Translated & notarized copy of our marriage Cert

Certified copies of my Divorce Judgements

A translated copy of HER passport data page  (I noted in the guide that we should submit a complete copy with all pages)

She is sending  Translated & notarized copies of

Her passport

Her Divorce cert

My Residence doc (TRP/Propiska)  A supporting doc

I will also be printing several pics of us in famous places in Kyiv as well as my air travel confirmations and several train tickets to provide evidence of a bonafide marriage.

I didn't see it on the CIS site, but should I also submit My I 864 as well?

ADDITIONALLY:

We tried to get a B1 visa earlier this year and was denied by a UA visa nazi.  But we did set up her profile on the CIS site(?) and now I can't login due to a frakked up captcha.  No matter what I do it won't validate and let me in.  Is it the  cgifederal.secure.force.com/  ?

Ok, guess that'll do for now.  Appreciate any guidance you good folks can provide.

G-325A is no longer needed. Your foreign spouse will complete the I-130A now instead :)

The UStraveldocs/CGI website has captcha problems every now and then. You can try to login again later. Otherwise, see if you're still encountering the same problem by creating a new account.

I have no experience with I-130 supporting documents so let's wait for the more experienced members to advise you accordingly :)

ETA: VJ IR-1/CR/1 guide does state that evidence of bonafide marriage is required. Copied the following from it:

Note: Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage
The USCIS now requires that when filing an I-130 for a spouse that you include evidence of a bonifide marriage. They list examples of acceptable evidence as:
1. Documentation showing joint ownership or property; or
2. A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence; or
3. Documentation showing co-mingling of financialresources; or
4. Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to you, thepetitioner, and your spouse together; or
5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties havingpersonal knowledge of the bona fides of the maritalrelationship (Each affidavit must contain the full nameand address, date and place of birth of the person makingthe affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner ofbeneficiary, if any, and complete information and detailsexplaining how the person acquired his or herknowledge of your marriage); or
6. Any other relevant documentation to establish that thereis an ongoing marital union.

Hi...
I have never heard of translated and notarized copy of passport data page..??? and the whole passport as well..
Are you talking about her Travel Document (international passport)?.. It has all info on Ukrainian and English so no need to translate and certified either...  The only passport that doesn't have English "duplicate" is her interior passport, but you don't need this for submitting your petition..

And yes, submit all pages of her passport as recommended.

Good luck!! :)

Thanks for the replies folks.

Ksenia, yes its her Intl passport.  USCIS doesn't care about the National ID that Ukraine calls passport.

Dealing with USCIS  for almost 3 years (since 2014, K1/K2) of course I know they are not interested in interior passport, at all.. You need it once during the whole process - to pick up your Travel Documents and medical results at DHL. That's it.

That's why I asked about what kind of passport you got translated and notarized... Travel documents IS bilingual , all data info is English duplicated  and it makes no sense to translate it.. from English to English?...

It turns out our translator agrees with you.  All we need now are the blank pages from her new passport and the translation of my TRP & ZHEK registration showing that I live with her when in UA, which is most of the time.  I have and will be renewing TRP for the 2nd year in Jan.  I may end up with PR before this is finished.

UPDATE

So, I have the following completed for the CR-1 petition.

COMPLETED

G-1145 - digital notification request.

I-130

I-130a

Complete copy of my passport

Complete copy of her passport

Translated and notarized copy of our Marriage cert.

Certified copies of my Divorce judgments.  (Court Certified and Attested for legal use.  Maine does not issue decrees)

Evidence of Bonifide marriage.  Pics in front of famous Kyiv landmarks, travel itineraries, train tix, etc.

PENDING:

Apostilled and notarized translation (of the Apostilled copy) of her divorce certificate (or w/e its called).

Cover letter

PP photos for both of us.  - IIRC the CIS site said TWO photos, but the guide here says one.

Check for $535 USD

Again, this is a CR-1 petition for a UKRAINIAN National (less than 2 years married) and it looks like we'll submit the package to the Chicago drop box from Ukraine as I'll be heading back in a month.

Am I missing anything?

Honestly, I thought applying for Ukrainian Temp Residency was a PITA.  That was a walk in the park.
