Guys,

It is now 290 days since I filed my i-129f in October 2016 and I have not yet received the NOA2. Just wanted to know if I am the only one or there are others. I need some real support right now. Thank you.

You are WAY past the processing time.   Have you contacted your senator's office or called USCIS and spoken with tier 2?  Have you completed a service request?

All these things could have been done April, even possibly March.

I just saw that you had an RFE after they began adjudicating your case.   What was the RFE for?  What does your USCIS status say?

UF,

I have done everything. Right now, I am waiting on the Ombudsman who has written to USCIS on my behalf to find out why the delay. They say it could take up to 2 months (in some cases) to get a response.

The RFE was just that I didn't sign on a particular question which I did and sent back within 3 days and they acknowledged receipt.

The funny thing is that I am wanting to remarry my ex-wife who is the mother of my two kids. Why the hell should that be a problem???? I dont get it!

UF,

Thank you. Their excuse is that background checks are pending...which doesn't make sense...when I became a citizen last year September, my background check took less than 2 months to complete. The entire process of citizenship took only 4 months to conclude.
