The NK regime knows full well what they stand to lose. They don't need our buffoon in chief to make promises he is not planning to keep. You don't draw a gun on someone unless you mean to shoot. In the end, the whole world won, but it was thanks to neither Supreme Leaders.

ETA: Why doesn't Trump use the same rhetoric towards Putin, instead of praising him for expelling Americans diplomats from Russia?

I don't know, but I'm not a fan of Putin or Russia. Never was and never will be, which makes this whole thing all the more amusing to me considering no one had an issue with Obama's condescending remarks to Romney who was imo at the time as well as now, spot on.

Or you can just do what Obama did while North Korea threatened the US of nuclear attacks way before it even had nukes -- nothing.

Hence, knitting. Although Jacques apparently loves knitting. :)

It's fab.

Even on a literal level, Madame Defarge's knitting constitutes a whole network of symbols. ... But on a metaphoric level, the knitting constitutes a symbol in itself, representing the stealthy, cold-blooded vengefulness of the revolutionaries. As Madame Defarge sits quietly knitting, she appears harmless and quaint.

The North Korea/South Korea/USA current situation is making me a little worried somebody will actually decide to push the button and actually launch nukes,Trump and Kim Jong Un aren't the two people who would think calm and rationally in a dangerous stand off

What exactly makes you think Trump wouldn't think rationally? He hasn't done anything prior Presidents didn't do.

I applaud him for the rhetoric, but I personally want him taking a harsher position on NK, even if it means attacking them. Anyone that threatens our country of nuclear war should be destroyed.
