no, i didn't miss it at all. in order for people to believe that what champion said was racist, there must be people who believe british pakistani's are more likely to commit sex crimes. this is the entire premise of racism. not sure why you're arguing.

  I think the point of contention with the MP that the chief constable has is that most people would call it child sexual abuse and recognize that it is not a single ethnic group perpetrating it in all cases. Trying to tie it to a single group distorts what is actually happening and seems to be a trigger for those prone to mass hysteria and discriminatory attitudes that are already prevalent. As evidenced by the reaction here.
