The I-864 Affidavit of Support instructions state: Any intending immigrant who has earned or can receive credit for 40 qualifying quarters  does to need to file an AOS

I have earned more than 172 months of railroad retirement credits:  do I need to have an I-864 filed for me?    ( Not sure how RR monthly credits compare to SS credits.)

Thanks, Dee elle!  Had missed this and will in fact use it.  It would have to assume that USCIS does in fact mean to include R/R equivalent credits when they ask for S/S credits. .
