The current average processing time to receive a NOA2 is about 4 months. However, it could be longer or shorter. Every case is different. Your case could be stuck due to background checks and has nothing to do with the current US president :)

We all need to support the new administration. It takes as long as it takes. 😀

Thank you Geowrian.  May I ask you how long you've received your noa2, because honestly Im really loosing hope cause every one on March filers really received there noa2 but for us on August 10 it will be our 4th month. Glad that my fiancé was really positive In giving hope and I'm glad Im able to join in this forum because you can answer all my questions and because we're all in the same track.

There is still A LOT of March fillers that haven't received a NOA2 yet. You're not alone. The process is taking longer now. Just be pacient and your time will come. You will receive the letter when you least expect it! Good luck!!

Hello everyone please do help me answer my questions.  I have my fiance living in San leandro California and I'm from Philippines. He already filed k1 visa documents March 30, 2017, he already receive noa1 April 10, 2017 but until now it's already 4 months he haven't received anything yet from uscis :(.  Why is that the other petitioner that I've been read before they got their noa2 after 2 months or 3 months but ours still none. Is the process right now in k1 visa too long because of there new president? Please help me.

Im waiting almost 9 months now on an NOA2 date for I-130 and im filing for CR-1 visa. I know K1 might be faster than that...Good Luck

Many Many of us still waiting

Daily

Every Day

In 3 days will be 5 months since I mailed that despised thing......  Little did I know how something seemingly so easy could be so hard.   You're not alone.  Today I messaged a VJ'er close to 200 days.  Last month I talked to a 180+ day approved member.  Hang in there, if your relationship can handle this period, it is good training for other periods in your marriage where you will be facing more challenging issues.  Best of luck to you!

We waited 134 days from Feb 23 -July 7. Almost 5 months.

I know many Feb filers that got approved in May, 2 months before us.

There really is no logic here unfortunately, just need to be patient.

I keep telling myself this every day and I'm very early into the process! Thanks for your positive words. +REP

I feel like we waited on pins and needles for 4 months for the NOA2, and now everything is going so damn fast, seems out of control! You'll look back one day and this entire process will only seem as a moment in time. Right now it's dragging on! It's all worth the wait ❤️

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement,  it really helps me a lot to be more positive.  Best of luck to all of us. ☺
