CBP are not the ones that issue the ban, down to the Consulate when applying for a visa.

They didnt give anything... just cancelled my visa, they asked about what I did in the states? If I work, if I want to move. I sign the papers, I asked thousand times about the ban and he said 1 year. I asked who gave me the time? And he said I take the decision and is just 1 yea.

I know they would not have issued it---but they most likely would have been reported of it, I'm thinking?

What I'm curious about---is that if someone receives a ban from the US, issued by the Consulate---is CBP also made aware of the ban by the Consulate?

That's why I'm going to again suggest to the OP to see about contacting CBP to verify how long the ban actually is for since they seem confused whether it's actually 1 year or more.

Well I don't understand now... the only think that I know is he cancelled my visa, he said 1 year ban (he lied to me). And let see what happen.

do I need a waiver? Can I apply for k1? Or I need wait for the time ( 1 year ban)?

The same thing just happened to me, my boyfriend and I want to apply for K1, but we don't know if I have a case ‘and they put the same thing 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (I).  Can you tell me if you could solve it?
