Hi I'm just starting to fill i-130a and I'm Stuck with  many things.

1- The form in the part that I have to provide my job and job's history :

Specifically:  Part 2. Information About Your Employment
(continued)

7.
Your Occupation

In this part I have to write it in English the name of my occupation...

In my case would be:

"Aviation Technician and Commercial Transport"

Should I write it in Full English I think right?

2- It says if the spouse/wife , the  (beneficiary) is not in U.S he/she must NOT sign the form, is this correct? (I dont want to get a delay for just a sign) !!!

3- Address History:

In the 5b part doesn't let me type anything!!!! What is this for? Is my current address but must appear in the square something like NOW...

(I've been reading that none square must be let in blank, at least write NONE, N/A but NOT let in Blank (Another RFE or delay if so!)

4- Part 1 Information about you:

9a  and 9b  Dates (What dates do I have to provide in here???)

This is for now, but Iḿ sure that I'm going to make many other questions about this...

Thanks in advance for your help!

Good day to everyone

For your spouse's signature, the I130 instructions say: "If your spouse is overseas, Form I-130A must still be completed, but your spouse does not have to sign Form I-130A." Notice how it says that your spouse *does not have to sign*. He/she still can, but it's not required if overseas.

I'm not sure why it's not letting you type in anything in those fields. Are you using Adobe Acrobat as recommended? Is it up to date? I had no problem filling out all questions using Acrobat. Keep in mind that the fields are validated. Some will not let you type in letters where a date is expected.

Regardless, do not leave anything blank! Especially if you know what should go in there. For Employement History 4b, simply print it out and then hand write it in. My i130 was mostly filled in via computer but many fields I hand wrote. I had to hand write "N/A" in a lot of places as the "/" character was not allowed.

So can be combined with hand writting and typed, well I was thinking other thing. Nice Tip.

Well, one of the fields that wasn't letting me type precisely was the field of my current address 5b , so, when printed I'm going to handwrite : NOW.

In all the other parts, that I wasn't using an attorney, preparer or interpreter I just going to fill N/A.

My version of Adobe actually lets me type the N/A character!!

OTHER IMPORTANT THING: Addresses in Cuba are very long and doesn't fit filled in computer , what I'm going to do is fill it in hand mode.

But, that takes me to another question, Hand filling most be with Capital letters or just normal?

How USCIS prefer it?

We would like to present the most according filled forms and i-130 package assembled!

Thanks and I wait for your time to answer me this further questions.

Awesome. Handwriting is definitely allowed and I think a good number of people end up handwriting something. Other examples of things I hand wrote are: phone numbers (acrobat wouldn't allow the + character for the country code) and fields that I had simply forgotten to fill out before printing.

Definitely fill unused questions with N/A. Others have had their applications delayed due to requests for evidence after leaving blanks.

I don't think USCIS has a preference when it comes to capital vs lower case letters. I wrote mine normally, capitalizing the first letter of names/cities/etc. Just make sure that what ever you write is clearly legible.

Lunch time, sorry, well combined is how it's going to be!

Wow , you mentioned matters about acrobat and the phone numbers I put it the + sign for the country code  without any kinf of troubles! I'm using a weird Linux Version of Acrobat !

Ok agree with unused questions and fields with N/A , will do it this way!

Well about Capital Letter , I'm going to follow your advise in order to capitalize only the first one letter and the others write it normally!

Of course clearly legible letters!

I would try to do it everything perfect to make it all really easy and try not to get any RFE.

Thank you again...

Good morning, sorry for the delay of he answer.

Well, we already send it on August 21, My PD is Aug 24.

It´s not a trouble the mixing on PDF filing and  handwriting , but what I recommend, always write in black ink, and NEVER, BUT NEVER let a space in blank, when the space doesn´t apply to you, simply put  (N/A).

Another thing, USCIS is frequently  sending RFE´s for things that they never requested before, so in the space of your husband/wife´s signature, is not required to sign it, well, we send it signed! Is my particular case, another thing... it is said that is not required the photos of the benefitiary but I send it too, recently I saw a RFE for this particular!

Try to organize everything really well, they like to see a case organized an not search the entire package looking for the things!

One question, in your profile it says that your are filing K1!

K1 visas are no longer being issued!

If you´re married fill instead for IR1 and  if your´re married more than 2 years, or CR1 if you´re married less than 2 years!

That´s my advise and anything else that you need, let me know ok, Good luck and hopefully you don´t get in NSC (Nebraska)!

Have a great day and week!
