Hi good evening.. I just asked if how can I get a visa on US because I have Boyfriend from Alaska and he wants me to go .I'm separated almost 4 years in Filipino. Hope you can help me to get a visa and what will I do and need.. thank you

You''ll have to apply for a tourist visa, if he wants you to visit, on your own but it's tough. Do you have strong ties to the Philippines? (a house, a job, anything?)

You've never met your boyfriend before? You'll have a hard time getting a tourist visa with a boyfriend from the United States. It would be a lot easier to have him visit you in the Philippines.

First divorce so he is not going to visit a " tecinically married woman"

then he visits

and you 2 decide if are serious about the relationship and decide to egaged or to be married

then he follows guidelines here to apply for K1 finance visa or CR1 spouse visa 

but he has to apply

No divorce in Philippines (with very rare exceptions). Annulment only...which will take a year or longer usually.

Yes, that still needs to be done before they could proceed with a K-1 or CR-1...just explaining that there's no divorce.

Plenty of people get tourist visas to visit friends (bfs too), albeit from PI it's very difficult and requires having quite strong ties.

Right now annulment takes about 2 years and costs approximately $3,000.  They used to be able to go faster, but my understanding is that about a year ago they cracked down on "expedited" annulments, so 2 years plus is about the norm.

 

Assuming your spouse is filipino, that's pretty much the only option to be single again.  If he's a foreigner he can file for divorce in his home country and that speeds up the process a bit.

 

To get a tourist visa you have to show beyond a reasonable doubt that your ties to the Philippines will ensure your return.  Otherwise the sense at the embassy is that you'll take advantage of the tourist visa to stay in the USA.  Ties can include property, work, investments... generally things most single filipinas don't have in abundance, so most tourist visas are denied.
