Hello.. I have a question for my sister. I remember 3 years ago you could tell that the case is complete by the N/a on ceac website. Is there any way we can tell now if someone has a case complete? Her scan date is august 15.

The status in the ceac site will change from submit requsted document to "at nvc" and the AOS line will disappear then make sure by calling nvc

If i send for a change of name, will that affect my case complete date?

Your profile shows that you’re doing EB-3 visas, so I am not sure if this is the right thread for your question. I am not sure, but in general I think if you already have a case complete maybe it’s better to just wait to get to the interview and clarify everything with the Officer, and take with you every document justifying the change of name or whatever has changed from the time you applied up until now.

Scan Date Aug 25

CEAC site changed to "At NVC" when I checked on Saturday  Oct 7th, was going to call to confirm today but realize that this is a Federal holiday. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Congratulations!!!!!!🍾🎈🎉

Congratz!! Sorry, It seems like you sent the document on the August 4th, was there a reason for such a later scan date?
