Haha same here. We didn't celebrate our 1st anniversary together, so I really pray we do celebrate Christmas together this year. Good Luck to you guys.

Thank you!! Same to you! It didn't state for pur country to submit fingerprints along with police clearance. I seen some people from our country receive a checklist because of that. Decides to send. Took is 12 weeks instead of usual 9.

Hello everyone, please how will you know if your case is complete?

Its has been said when you check your status it will no longer say to submit required documents, and say At NVC. Also your Affidavit of support link will disappear. I check mine yesterday and had that. Will call in the morning to confirm.

Oh I see. It took me exactly 11 weeks to receive a checklist. That was before discovering VJ, so I completely didn't send a police certificate because I thought since "certificate" means something like a diploma I thought they meant a document that shows that he was in the police before. Since he has never been in the police so I thought I didn't have to send anything. When I discovered VJ and found out that they meant Police Clearance it's was already too late cuz the checklist came 2 days after. I wanted to kill myself.

Oh something just came to my mind. I have looked around and just want to clarify, it's not all countries that require to have fingerprints along with the Police Clearance right? So far I think I've only seen Nigeria that has to do that. I am from Cameroon, and I haven't seen a lot of folks here from Cameroon to have an accurate answer. When I received my Hubby's PC there were no fingerprints attached to it and that's all I sent to NVC.

Yes, Nigeria. I was so upset. I feel they need to personalized the letter of what's needed country specific. Because my letter just stated police clearance. Never fingerprint. Thank god my husband kept the fingerprint card. This three week delay possible causes us a December instead of November interview

I can imagine. At least your letter said Police Clearance, mine said Certificate which threw me completely away. You're right about specifying for each country because in Cameroon we called it completely a different name, so When I told my husband Police Certificate he didn't know what I meant at first. In Cameroon it's called " Extrait du Casier Judiciaire". Here is the link where to see exactly what you need for your Country, and again I found this after receiving the Checklist.

Ok, let's keep our fingers crossed. It's also annoying that we're one of those countries that get notified at least after 9weeks from SD. I see so many countries getting cc around 6-7 weeks.

I can imagine. Maybe it's because of where we're from.
