I'm a bit rusty so I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong location.  My brother-in-law was one of those randomly selected to be considered for the Diversity Visa.  He submitted the DS-260 online so we are waiting on an interview date.  I don't see that we have a timeline for DV like we have for the other visas, and that makes sense, but I'd really like to see if anybody has been contacted about an interview date thus far.  It looks like interviews may somehow get posted on the KCC website.  Does anybody have past experience in this where they could explain how that works?

Also, if you're in the same boat (selected for DV lottery Morocco), please comment here and update as you go?  We used to do this for other visa types to help us share experiences.

Thanks!!!!

We met in October 2007 and our immigration journey started in July 2008 when we filed for the I-129F Fiance Visa petition.

Interviews are assigned monthly by case number according to the visa bulletin. Britsimonsays is a good resource for FAQs about the process.

Your brother needs to read this because it outlines the process from beginning to end: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/diversity-visa/if-you-are-selected.html

And, as Susie mentioned, he should read BritSimon's site because it's the best non-government site out there.
