CEAC frequent change of status

Immigrant interview held at consular post to adjusticate DS-260

Collected passport, provided approve of visa notice and instructed to wait a week to receive back the document without any other slips (pink,green,white,221g etc)

3 weeks has passed since, ceac status frequently changes from AP to Ready back to AP to Read to AP and so on must've done this over ten times. Obviously something must've triggered for Washington to assess further admin. 

The embassy ######### must let intent immigrant know about such process turnaround prior giving approval notices. Consular post site indicate it take 5 months to clear ####### lol who has such time to waste over this bs.

Every case goes through AP, albeit the length of which varies. Most lasts days, some weeks, rarely months, and very rarely years.

While you were approved at the interview, the visa won't be issued until all AP is complete. AP can include additional documentation checks, background checks, etc.

I'm not sure what Washington has to do with any of this...? This is all handled at the embassy.

Frequent updates are generally a good thing as it means they are actively working on your case.

 

It's a violation of the TOS to try to bypass the language filter.

Embassy is just a tip of an iceberg, real deal happens back in US mainland. APs goes throw Security Advisory Opinion (SAO) or Washington Special Clearance, commonly called security clearance, or administrative clearance, or administrative processing, a process involves sending a request from the visa issuing post to the Department of State's hq in DC to investigate an individual's case for possible espionage, terrorism, and illegal export of technology out of the US. 

All this jazz sounds Hollywood as if it was consistent, we have a whole new ball game happening in Texas with hundred of thousands pouring in undocumented from dirty south. The legal channel is flawed.
