We were married before we applied and we applied in her married name..

Did you submit copies of sworn affidavit of Change of Name/Newspaper Publication?

Oh ok. Did the documents you sent regarding her have her married or maiden name? When I requested my name be updated I had to send proof of name change. I sent the marriage certificate and my passport. Even though you applied in her married name, I was just wondering what the actual documents said and if that made a difference.

Was trying to edit the previous comment but it timed out.

Also, you can update your timeline and request to be added to the spreadsheet so others can help you with specific questions you might have in the future, as well as help those coming behind you. The spreadsheet also helps in knowing how long it may take to get your interview.

How about those of us that sent copies of Sworn Affidavit of Change of Name/Newspaper Publication with our I- 130 package? Will our new name reflect?

I'm not sure but I would think a sworn affidavit would suffice. Don't

think you should worry!

Also, for OP, it may just be a clerical error as humans are the ones who input the info.

Also, the spreadsheet will give an idea of how long til the interview. Our CC was middle of July but we didn't get and interview date until August scheduling and the interview was in Oct.  At the time the spreadsheet said abt 90 days from CC, which was correct.
