Hi everyone,

 

I have read on another forum, that we are supposed to bring the x-rays when entering the US. However, I can't seem to find that on the government's website. Does anybody know for sure whether I have to bring the x-rays or not? If so, I have to request them at the hospital, as in Belgium they no longer give them (only available online).

This page https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/after.html said to handcarry and not packed it in your luggage. However, many people have said it's yours to keep and no one would ask from you. Hmm...

 

I'm a paranoid one so I personally would request for a copy on a CD :jest:

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

I decided to pick up the disc this morning. I guess I am paranoid as well haha. Better have that little extra than being denied ;).

The only x-ray given to my fiancee was on the CD (and presumably in the sealed package). The CD says "DO NOT SUBMIT to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the port of entry".

 

Some other threads below. Basically CBP won't ask for them, but if you have them and are paranoid, it won't hurt to take it with you and relieve a little stress. :)

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand
