Hi,

I've read quite a few threads now about sending only the I-693A along with the 485 package, if you've had your medical exam within less than a year for the K1 visa.

Is this true only for K1 visa or is it also true for the K3 visa as well? Even the 485 instructions mentions only K1 and K2 for the supplement, does this mean for the K3, one has to go through the full medical exam all over again?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I assumed it was the same for K3s since K3s have to get a medical before visa issuance as well. I hope so since I only sent them an I-693A.

joe84,

Same applies to K3s. This is one set of instructions that did not get updated very well when the K3 visa was created a few years ago.
