Hello

me and my husband are applying for my marriage based green card

im in the US on a f1 visa

 

my husband current income is 33,000 - full time job

but his last tax return ( 2016) was 14,000 ( he had just left college )

 

So since his last tax return was under the poverty line ( under 20.300 ) is that gonna be a problem for us? His current income is 33.000 

 

we dont have a joint sponsor

It shouldn't be a problem. Our income wasn't reflected on the latest tax return. 

You have to do your best trying to prove the income tho.. I mean really a lot of evidences

We sent the tax return for last year 2016, last 6 paystubs and letter  from hr confirming employment.
