I'm a US Citizen & I petitioned my wife who currently under H1B visa. She was on a J1 visa before but was able to find a waiver job under Delta Regional Authority. we filed I-130 and was approved. We've also had a case number from NVC for almost 2 years now. We've been updating NVC as for the status of my wife since she was waiting to finish her 3-year job waiver requirement. We are now getting ready to file for an Adjustment of Status and what's to find out the process especially,  if anyone is on the same situation as we are. What are the step-by-step process & the forms that need to be submitted?  I'm also concern about the Affidavit of Support since I don't have a full time job at the moment since we have to moved to an underserved area. However, we do file jointly.

Op, your wife is in the USA, right?  If so, NVC should not be invovled, are you sure they are clear on your wife being local, not abroad?

You should be ok on the affadavit as you can combine incomes.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
