Hi! Good Day everyone!

I just got a few questions regarding with my plan of applying for Tourist Visa.

I am from the Philippines but currently working in Saudi Arabia. Am i allowed to apply for that visa here?

And what is my chance of acquiring the visa if i am:

-single, 28 y/o

-no property in my home country

-a nurse graduate

-have relatives in US

-just enough savings(i think)

I hoping for your insights... Thank you...

Yes, you can apply for your B2 in Saudi Arabia if you are a current resident there. However, there is probably just a very slim chance of being granted one. No harm trying though.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

You sure are. My Filipino fiancee did, and a few of her coworkers are doing so right now to join our wedding. :)

That said, you really don't have any strong ties to return back. I'm sorry. You can try, but I'm doubtful. The only thing to lose is the application fee, though.

@KULtoATL and @geowrian

Thank you for your answers, i think those remarks are enough for my questions. 😃

But do you think travelling from other coutries before would help my application to get a positive outcome?

Cause from 2011 I've been to several countries like Macau, HK, China, Switzerland  for leisure and Dubai(4months), France( a month) for work.

And one more thing, my aunt had just established a small nursing home, would thatbe a red flag? 😁

Yes, past travel is helpful.

No, I don't think that will be an issue. They're more concerned about 1) family that is likely to take care of you in the US if you didn't return home, and 2) immediate relatives who could potentially try to sponsor you for a green card. Either way, it's not something worth mentioning unless asked.

Let us know how you get on.
