Can't verify myself on save case check and driver's permit hard copy takes so long

At dmv right this moment. She says she does drivers license for 9 years and they never heard save case check... i dont know what to do.

USCIS can't help you here.

 

You just have to call until you get somebody who knows something. Ask for supervisor. Go down to the DMW ask for supervisor. they know what it is because all immigrants have to do the check before they can issue DL. I think you just might not be able to explain the problem so the understand it so just keep trying.

ok, thank you for information and support. i will call them tomorrow again.  i e-mailed to  save also. i will print their response and go to dmv and show it to them. because they say it takes max 20 days verification. and it has been 30 days already with no response.

no there are 3 levels of verification and seems like you are at level 3 now which is not so good. Then they can't verify you over the system and have to do it by paper via the mail.

I don't understand that this office is saying they don't know about SAVE. I know that a NOA1 from i-485 can even get you verified in FL (if you just manage to find a person to scan the documents for you). So with your EAD there should be no problem. It does sound to me also as if you are in level 3 check, that's when they receive the verification pending that you are mentioning. This normally isn't a problem for a K1 with an EAD (but I've seen it happen) unless they have entered some of your information incorrectly when attempting to verify. It is EXTREMELY important that all info is entered exactly as on your EAD for it to be able to verify through the level 1. If I were you I would ask to see how they have spelled your name and that first middle and last names are entered exactly right. You need to eliminated that as a potential problem. If that is not the problem then all you can do is wait. Level 3 verification is painfully long and there is no way for you to call the USCIS department that handles it. They only have phone lines open to the agencies. There is no way to be transferred to anyone involved with SAVE, and it is extremely frustrating.

Did you have the same problem at the social security administration? If they were able to verify you, that points to the DMV entering the info wrong, cause then you obviously can be verified through SAVE electronically.

Thank you for your support through this. I went to dmv yesterday. There was another lady today, i showed my papers. I was like look at my noa1 for aos and ead and look i have ead i have ss card i have 2 printed temporary permits each of them 60 days. I have been waiting for longer than 4 months. 

 

So she was like what the heck and she went back there and call them and came back 2 minutes later. She told me they just validated me and printed my card (thanks for her, she wouldn't do that if she didnt call them) and they will mail it (2-3 weeks) . And now i can see my file on save case check. 

 

She was like " I dont know why they didn't validate you and holding your case for no reason, because you are on our system and it has been a while." 

 

The other lady didn't do anything else except telling me they don't know about Save Case Check (DHS) and she told me to wait up to 90 days.

So happy to hear it worked out! Someone didn't quite do their job... I know it sucks when it happens, but I've noticed it's not uncommon here at all so always keep your eye and keep pushing when it comes to government and/or state officials who are "first tier". I think that's the whole problem of it - the set up in the U.S. is very hierarchical - so the ppl are only qualified to handle standard cases, and anything outside of that has a potential to mess up cause they don't do it often or haven't been trained on it. Back home first tier in important positions like that have more authorization and training/education to do their job - mistakes still happen ofc but far far less than what is my experience here.

i got the paper. it is learner's permit. But i have never have the real card. So they didn't let me take my behind the wheel test. They said i need to get my card first. But i have been waiting for a looong time. 

 

So now i am waiting for learners permit card to arrive so i can go back to dmv and give them my card and get my behind the wheel test to get my driver's license.

Thats weird I took the drivers test 2 days after and only with the paper one.  Well hope you get it soon so you can move forward!
