Hi all,

My wife and I are currently working on AOS. She was a student and we got married in the US. We had our interview on August 1st. Everything in the interview seemed to go okay. We were in the office and were both asked pretty routine questions about our relationship. The interview lasted about an hour and at the end he asked her a string of yes/no questions and then said that he is not done reviewing our file and we will get a decision later. Is this normal? I've read that people sometimes get decisions the day of the interview. It's been almost 7 days now and we have not heard back.

The Dallas field office. I just got an email this morning from DHL Express that I have a letter coming I need to sign for. No idea if they deliver through DHL though... so not getting my hopes up too much. I hear they're slow to update online statuses though.

Congrats, the wait for the GC is not as long as the AOS process. Keep calm, you will get the card. Some of us are still waiting for the interview for over 1 year now.

Relax and enjoy, the card might arrive before the online status changed.
