So i filed my Ds260 to the NVC with my attorney and next week will be 30 days since they recived it. My attorney hasnt filed my civil documents but we paid all the fee's that has been recieved. Will the NVC send a form out on what documents he has to submit. How much longer do i have to wait before i go to the embassy?

Did you and/or your attorney receive the NVC welcome letter? That welcome letter (actually an email) contains a cover sheet that has to be sent with the documents. Your attorney has to know which documents to submit plus you can find a list online. After you send the documents it will take about 9 weeks until the NVC closes your case and sends it to the embassy.

N400 filed - online: 10/30/2020

NOA: 11/02/2020

Bio reuse: 12/30/2020

USCIS changed to "Interview Scheduled": 06/07/2021

Interview Date: 07/14/2021 Approved!

USCIS changed to "Oath Ceremony will be scheduled": 07/15/2021

USCIS changed to "Oath Ceremony notice mailed": 07/20/2021

First of all thank you so much for your speedy response.

Im not sure if we recieved this welcome letter or not. I didnt at least. All i know is i recived my processing fee which was all paid for. Then we submitted my ds-260 form which was recived on july 14, 2017.

As far as i know he has not submitted anything else. He sent me a email saying "we are waiting for the NVC to send us a document submission letter"

he also stated that because in my country my police certificate expires in 90 days i should wait until i get my interview letter. So im not too sure on what's going on.

I thought the NVC needed my police certificate...but they wont send out a interview date before they recieve that.

Maybe im wrong though. Im in need of enlightenment.

Did you get an actual letter in the mail? Or an email with the invoice fees and invoice numbers? If you did receive them via email, try to find it in your inbox, it might contain the cover sheet. This is all very confusing, the way they send it via email is they send you the invoices + the document cover sheet that you have to send with your financial and civil documents. If you think neither you or your lawyer received this, call the NVC.

Confused89 as SabRob has pointed out, you should have received the NVC welcome letter. Within the welcome letter there is a Document Cover Sheet that should be included when you send your information to NVC. I would give them a call and to notify them if they can resend you the welcome letter. Be sure to verify your & attorneys emails to ensure this does not happen again. The package will instruct you on how to proceed. GL!

If the NVC operator was not helpful, please call and try again. The same happened to a relative of mines and the operator was able to confirm the emails and resend the package through email.

Don't pin your hopes on the NVC that they're gonna send you the cover sheet. You or your lawyer should have received it via email along with the Invoices for the AOS fee and IV fee. Keep calling them until you get ahold of someone who will help you.

Not that the operator wasnt helpful. Everytime i call a machine answers the phone and say that they are busy to try again later and it hangs up all the time.

It just mines the lines are busy and they cannot accept anymore calls. Try calling in the morning when the open at 6am ET time or before they close 12:00am ET time.

Are you in Hungary or the US? The best time to call is 7-9 AM EST or 2-4 PM Hungary time.

Im in Hungary. Is it possible that the NVC will send me this welcome letter after 30days of submitting my ds-260? Or will they send me some sort of instructions after they see that i sent in a ds-260.
