It looks like people have finally caught on about how much a hypocrite Al Gore is. I can't lie but this makes me really happy.

Only educated Americans, and we're a vanishing species.

Or as Kellyanne Conway would put it: An astounding success!

Inconvenient dramatization.

At very least films like Hostel, Saw, etc. had a plot.

I liked Hostel in all honesty. I never could get into all the Saw movies. I think I saw maybe 1 or 2 out of the what 6 that was made.

I would NEVER go and spend $20 buck for a documentary in the theaters. The best I would do is MAYBE pay the $5.99 and watch it from home. The last good documentary I watched was White Helmets.

I hear ya.

As you know that's the going price out here in California for 1 person's ticket and MAYBE a drink depending on what kinds of movie you are going to. If the movie is 3D or IMAX that's the whole $20 right there.

I recall movies like Super Size Me being in theaters, was somewhat educational about the first hand effects of fast food.

Need another, more scientific documentary.

But Michael Moore films come to mind for films passing off as documentaries. Bowling For Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko, etc. Regardless of the lefties here stating they've never seen it, these were incredibly popular like AIT.

Every TWC forecast I see here is just inundated with Al Gore talking about his idiotic film. Apparently the impression is this will have impact in Canada.

IMAX is a pretty funny gimmick (from AMC, Cineplex, etc.). There's rarely any actual IMAX theaters. Those who've been to one will know exactly what I mean.

You can add pop corn for and additional $50. A bargain!

That's why I hardly take my kids out to movies at all. I think the last time I took them to the movies was the Dory movie, and even then my 3 year old got scared in the middle of it and wanted to leave. Which was sad to me because she was the sole reason I took the 3 of them to the movie theaters to see that movie.

I heard Dunkirk in IMAX is GREAT and I really want to see that in theaters.

I dunno about Socal, but in the Bay Area, the only one I saw for the last decade IMAX was advertised was at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Just as an example, AMC Metreon in SF advertised their theater as IMAX but clearly is a gimmick that got trademark approval. Actual IMAX theaters are literally stadium size, with absolutely enormous screens. I've yet to see a single one in Canada yet, despite most Cineplex theaters advertising IMAX showings.

I have no idea what prompted the annihilation of what was otherwise going to be a fantastic theater standard. Now it's just poo.
