biometrics for AOS

Can i do my biometrics here in Texas when my biometrics application is set in Orlando, Florida? My husband just received the biometrics notice in the mail yesterday and it says i have to do it on August 15(didnt expect it to arrive that soon). I am having a vacation here in Texas (just got here 4 days ago) and was wondering if I can do it here instead of flying back to florida.(was planning to stay here til the end of the month). its just a vacation and im not permanently staying here so i hope that changing the address in my whole AOS application is not the only option there is. any advice?

Don't quote me on this but you can always reschedule your biometrics if you cannot attend the appointment shown in the letter. I would just reschedule the appointment so that way you don't cause yourself a headache. Just my two cents.

Thank you for the reply, RamStu! ☺ yeah, this is on my option too, to just re-schedule the appointment but as much as possible, I don't want to delay the process and at the same time, stay for awhile here in texas..(plane tickets are expensive..lol.) If I can't do the biometrics here, then i guess I really have to fly back to Florida. Thank you again. 😁

I completely agree. I believe you can schedule the biometrics In September around the same month. Give USCIS a call and see that they saying about having the biometrics performed in Texas. The worst that can happen is them saying no and to reschedule at the office in Orlando. GL!
