Hey guys, just trying to get my fiance set up with health insurance on her arrival, short term until she is able to work and get insurance through her job. Any suggestions/recommendations?

We used these guys: United Healthcare Short Term

Fairly reasonable pricing, any short term coverage is going to be pricey but I'm sure you're already aware of that!

I wouldn't recommend United.  The plans do not cover pre-existing conditions and the term is only for 3 months.  Heaven forbid she's on the plan and develops a condition after three months the coverage ends.

Its always better to find something that offers the option for a longer period of coverage.

PM me if you want some details.

Feels vaguely spammy. Considering a google search of your company shows no results.

It's short-term healthcare for a reason, 3 months would be considered short-term.

OP, I went with United short-term until me and my wife got married and she could then add me as a dependent on her healthcare as it was a qualifying life event.

I now have my own health insurance with my own employer so we have double coverage.
