still waiting for visa /passport to come back

My fiance had his interivew in UK on March 26.We were not apporved but not denied. He got a blue slip that said admin. processing needed. That was March 26th on the 31st we recieved the letter that said WE ARE NOW READY TO ISSUE YOU UR VISA and to call the courier service to pick up his passport and pay the return fee. And return the blue sheet. He did . t hey picked up on tha Tuesday April 3rd. and we have not gotten it back. When he called the embassy they said i t could take two weeks. We are sweating. Even though we have the letter we are soooooooo nervous. Is anyone haveing this problem?

I'd give them another few days.

My fiance had his interview March 28th, we figured surely he'd have his visa the following week. We were planning for him to fly over the 9th or 10th of April. Well, no visa. So finally on the 12th I call the State Dept and she basically said we were in AP. Which was pretty disappointing to me! Come to find out, they had issued the visa on the 30th and he FINALLY received the visa today! SMS is retarded, in my opinion. I'm sure lots of people have nothing bad to say about them, but my fiance waited and waited on every day except for (the monday following easter, since it was sort of a holiday) and they said that they had tried to deliver. They would redeliver today, between 8-5. When did they show up.. 5:15! I'm just glad it finally came! So hang in there, yours is coming!!

Thanks Nicole that was a helpful post! When they had your passport all along and it even took till Apr 17th to arrive, it makes more sense why merijan your guy's passport is slow to arrive. It will come, that is assured.
