Hi,

I am from Morocco and I am in the middle of filling out form DS-260 and I have few questions:

1- I stayed in Tunisia 5 times for a total period of 2 years from November 1998 to December 2000, but I never stayed pass 6 month each time, maybe 2-3 months. so I never had a permanent address. Do i need to add this to DS-260? I never had a physical address as i never had a residency card? and I dont remember exact months that i entered and exited the country.

Morocco doesnt give the old passport back once you you apply for new one.

2- I went to mecca, Saudi Arabia for 3 months. Should i add this to DS-260? again no permanent address.

Quote from Casablanca US Consulate:

Quote

Police Certificate: For each applicant aged 16 years or over. You must get a police certificate from your country of nationality, from each country in which you have lived for one year or more since your 16th birthday and from any country where you currently reside.

Quote

The Tunisian authorities do not issue police records to former foreign residents, unless they were born in Tunisia

Any advice please?

Based on the advice given to some other VJ members here, I would say;

You should mention all the countries you lived within the required reporting time period in DS-260 form

I Know for sure that Saudi Arabia Government DO NOT provide PCC even if you lived there for 25 years or more.  They only provide PCC to Saudi Citizens.

NVC and Moroccan consulate should be aware of this information.  This information can also be found in this website:

I hope this helps.

First of all thanks for the link.

My question: Am i suppose to enter every trip of 2 or 3 months in DS-260?

for example: I took 3 months trip to Tunisia, went back home for 2 months, another trip of 4 months to Tunisia then back home for 2 months, again a trip for 2 months to Tunisia and went back home for the holidays. This went on within the 2 years period.

I can't remember exact months. Should i give estimates?

I wish DS-260 was simpler
