Our NOA1s were long in coming via mail, almost 15 days, biometrics a week later

That's good to know! Our NOA1s took 15 days to arrive, and I really want to know when my biometrics appt is going to be.

Was the actual biometrics appt a week later, or just the letter with the appointment date?

Hi fellow August filers! :D I'm looking forward to having buddies during this waiting game.

Re: the NBC thing people are asking about in this thread... I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the processing center will process the EAD/AP, but will check the AOS documents for RFEs and then redirect the AOS to the local office. At least I hope this is the case -- it would explain why the NBC doesn't list processing times for the I-485. Thoughts?

I was wondering the same because the processing time on USCIS for NBC shows only for EAD & AP and I guess they will transfer the AOS to the local service center once they have all the documents and are ready to schedule a interview.

Sit tight :) and be patient.

Do you (or anyone else here) know how accurate these time tables are? I sent out my package today but did not include the AP. I assumed the AOS would take around 4 months, and since I'm not planning to leave the country during that time i thought what the heck.:D

Now I'm just realizing how processing times vary in AOS... according to the time table my local office (Detroit) only takes a little over 4 Months for the AOS. That would be fine. So now I'm debating wether to send the AP in a seperate letter or just let it be.
