Thanks for this, glad it went well.  I was wondering how long the appointment takes, but I see it isn't long. We have to drive a couple of hours to our nearest office.

Thank you. We paid with money orders. Actually, we just received our package back. The reason was that we paid a dollar more for the I-485 and biometric (we paid $1,226 instead of $1,225). Silly mistake!!

How long is it taking them to cash personal checks? Did you guys send one check for $1225 or 1 for $1140 and a 2nd. For $85?

8/28 received by uscis

9/6 check posted on my account

i used one check $1225.

1.FIlled a form (takes about 2 minutes)

2.Wait for your token number to be called (there was none around so i didnt had to wait)

3.Photo has been taken

4.FIngerprints of all fingers taken

5.Filled the feedback form

6.Exit...all in 15 minutes

just an fyi in case you were wondering but its ok to send it back exactly as you received it just fix the cheque/money order and your'e all set i know for a fact i had mine sent back cuz my hubby missed the 'five' at the end of the worded portion

You are more than welcome to stay here although for timeline accuracy I would encourage you to also join the September Filers, that way you can relate more as to when you will be receiving NOAs, TXT etc....Good luck.
