Hello August Filers. Here we go again with the waiting. 😒

Filed my wife's i485, i765, i864, i693, and i131 today via USPS.

Good luck to all of us.

Just to update:

8/25(fri) sent applications via usps

8/28(mon) received by uscis

9/6 check posted on my account

9/7 at 12:30am received 3 texts & emails from uscis saying they are working on my case. I also plugged all 3 receipt numbers on uscis web so i can track them. i-485 status says they have received my fingerprint fee on 9/1.

So we are just waiting for the biometric appointment. I cant wait to get this over with. Good luck to all of us guys.

For form I-765 employment authorization for a K1, would the eligibility category be a6 or c9? Why is this so confusing? I tried to look it up on YouTube and found conflicting answers some said a6 others said c9... which one is right?

there's a difference, check this... @Mzkyia79

K-1 Nonimmigrant Fiance(e) of U.S. Citizen or K-2 Dependent--(a)(6). File Form I-765 if you are filing within 90 days from the date of entry. This EAD cannot be renewed. Any EAD application other than for a replacement must be based on your pending application for adjustment under (c)(9).

Adjustment Applicant--(c)(9). File Form I-765 with a copy of the receipt notice or other evidence that your Form I-485, Application for Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is pending. You may file Form I-765 together with your Form I-485.

The above is from I-765 instructions pages  9 & 10

Did you pay with personal check? If so, did you see it cashed on your account? Your notification should be coming in soon. I only got mine this morning. Good luck.
