I've got to agree with her about the registering part.  My Mom has been asked repeatedly if she wanted to register to vote as an LPR.  However, rhe voting part, that's on her.

Dept of State does not issue passports unless you show them your birth certificate, you old passport, or naturalization certificate. Wouldn't it be much easier if they just do it like DMVs or local election committees where you claim you are a US citizen and they take your word for it?

 

oh by the way she said she only voted twice in the local school superintendent elections b/c her kids go to school. C'mon grandma, even the 2 year olds know that's the holy grail of all elections. Crazy!
