Hi!

We submitted our DS-260 and we're now going to send in our documents enlisted on the Document Cover Sheet.

However, the Document Cover Sheet enlists the need for 'Police Records'? What are they? We have no criminal record?

Also, my father was born in 1960 and he doesnt have a birth certificate. I read somewhere that birth certificates are only compulsory for births after 1970.

What documents do we need to submit if we dont have a birth certificate?

Look at the link below from the US State dept website   It outlines the source of the documents needed.  Your father will need the correct poice certificates, birth certificates and documents noted on the cover sheet
