The RFE or something of the like would be for the EAD. I get worried because USCIS had already messed up with my I-765 before, returning when I first filed because I didn’t “file with the appropriate fee” which was a misunderstanding by them so I get worried something silly like that could happen again =) and yeah, my husband is going to check the mail for me (he probabaly doesn’t even know the time the mail comes cause it’s always me who gets the mail hahaha)

Understandable, I was under the impression they reviewed the documents together until sending them over to the local office for interview...There is really nothing much to the EAD that could require a RFE except the basic stuff, fees (which sucks because you didn't need to pay) and forgetting to sign or something on the document itself. I am sure everything will be fine!

Wish I could travel back to Brazil. When we applied to the AOS, we also bought tickets back waiting and believing that by the date we would already have the AP and EAD....too bad, date is approaching and nothing in the mail :(  Anyways, I`m just happy to also be close to the woman I love and I can rearrange travels plans for next year.

T_P,  my wife and I have the same issue. It's really hard planning this stuff around the holidays!
