I get worried about having to deal with RFE’s or not getting the card at all by the time I come back. I’m staying for 3 weeks in my country and I just wanted some peace of mind regarding that

Do you have someone that can check your mail? That way they could help you out if you have to deal with a RFE.  Honestly, I think that if your case is "ready to be scheduled for interview" at that point you will not receive a RFE. It means they reviewed your case and all the paperwork were there and your file is ready, all it's missing is the interview.

The RFE or something of the like would be for the EAD. I get worried because USCIS had already messed up with my I-765 before, returning when I first filed because I didn’t “file with the appropriate fee” which was a misunderstanding by them so I get worried something silly like that could happen again =) and yeah, my husband is going to check the mail for me (he probabaly doesn’t even know the time the mail comes cause it’s always me who gets the mail hahaha)

Wish I could travel back to Brazil. When we applied to the AOS, we also bought tickets back waiting and believing that by the date we would already have the AP and EAD....too bad, date is approaching and nothing in the mail   Anyways, I`m just happy to also be close to the woman I love and I can rearrange travels plans for next year.

I’m so sorry! It’s a risk relying on dates in this process  when are the dates you originally bought?

I think you’ll get it before then. This is the second week of November and it usually takes about 4 to 5 days to arrive in the mail  honestly, yeah, it’s good to be prepared for every situation but I think you have big chances of getting your document before the month ends!

@izavox I know....I`m prepared. Make sure to bring some coffee from Brazil since they dont have any of our kinds in US. I bought some from Amazon and it is extremely expensive.

@zavior, @T_P its hard to find the real coffee here, and I would do anything to watch some real Soccer game, a live match.

Right?! My husband bought Café Melitta for me through Amazon and I thought it was the sweetest thing until I asked him how much he paid for it: $14!!! I was like "what the hell!!! Dont ever do this again! I can buy 5 or 6 with this money in Brazil".
