03 May 2017 - Visa Interview - Approved

17 May 2017 - Visa Ready for Pickup!

Hey guys. My I-485 status changed directly to New Card Being Produced.  I still can't believe it though.

Good morning guys, I finally got some good news - my EAD card was approved, approval notice was sent out yesterday in the mail and my I-485 is now in que for ready to be scheduled for an interview.  I

Just want to update you guys.   Received two approval notices today AP and EAD. Hopefully the card will come soon in the mail.

It can be any random time. This one changed today around 6:30PM . The last one happened at 1PM on 1st nov but the status said they changed it on 31 oct. 

So check emails regularly. Checking it every 30 mins had kinda become my new ritual in last 1 month :)

Did you get emails about your combo card? Hmmm I did not get any when mine was mailed..

no email. I called uscis to confirm and I was told its a combo card :)

What did you ask? I called them to confirm if it was just EAD or a combo card, and the guy just repeated the same thing that is shown online... As if he didn't even look into the actual system, just looked at my receipt numbers.

Sometimes their customer service is not the most knowledgeable nor helpful. You have to be lucky to get someone willing to go through your case. I know it is mostly the combo card, not sure if anyone has received separate cards recently (don't think so?). 

 

I wonder what I'll get since I didn't file for Advance Parole. Hopefully the combo one since it seems very standard.

Timeline (From B2 visa to AOS)


July 15, 2016 -> Got married
August 3, 2017 -> Mailed AOS packet (I-130, I-485, I-765)
August 4, 2017 -> Package received
August 14, 2017 -> NOA for I-130 and I-485 (not I-765... called multiple times to ask about this but was told to wait)
August 25, 2017 -> NOA for Biometrics Appt (I-485)
August 30, 2017 -> Sent email asking to look for I-765 (My I-765 was LOST)
September 8, 2017 -> Biometrics Appt for I-485
September 26, 2017 -> Received email from USCIS I-765 found and PD August 4
October, 2017 -> NOA for I-765 and Tier 2 officer cancelled 2nd biometrics

November 3, 2017 -> Raised SR online for I-765

December 11, 2017 -> SR showed as "completed" by the assigned officer

January 8, 2018 -> Name was updated 

January 18, 2018 -> interview scheduled
