No, no news about the EAD or AP.... I probably won't receive them at all.

Yep i think you're one of the lucky ones who get the GCs straight away in a short time :) (unless you needed a job or travel plans before that)

Good luck for the interview :)

For those that concurrently filed their EAD and AP, does it ever happen that it will not be a combo card? So what I mean, does anyone ever get the EAD first and AP at a later time?

It is rare, but Yes. I have seen in one of the posts few weeks ago a guy who got his AP separate from EAD.

So I finally got my hands on the combo card today!

Btw I did not know that the picture on the card would be black and white until I saw it.

Still would need to wait for the green card, but feeling much better now.

I am not sure whether I want to work or not though XD Kinda both

Is there a way to know if you have raised correctly a SR?

I just called uscis but the person was kind of rude (this is more of a rant because of it) and while she was talking to me she was talking to other people there and there was a lot of chatting in her place I barely could hear anything. She didn't even ask me at the end if everything was correct, she just ended saying "okay thank you" and hung off the phone immediately o-o The other times I called the customer service asks me if I have any more questions etc...

I have raised a SR today because it is my day 90 since PD. Not even sure if it was raised correctly. Is there a way to know?

Congrats to everyone receiving everything so fast. We shouldn't have moved out from California, things seem to happen SO fast there... ugh, I always have such bad luck for paperwork stuff. We will miss the wedding of my husband's childhood friend overseas because of no progress.

Uscis made 2 mistakes in my application:

  1. misspelled my first name
  2. Forgot to include my EAD form initially (yes, they didn't see it and corrected it 2 months later because I emailed them)

Tell me if that's not having bad luck? I don't know of any single case EVER where they forgot to see the I 765 and just missed it.

I hope for everyone who is still in "Fingerprints received" or "case received" to change soon.

This is a little stressing folks, especially when you see filers who filed later than you getting their cards and case progress. I feel happy for them but I feel sad for me and everyone else who sees no progress. I will just pray for everyone to have things moving faster. I'll try to not lose hope.

Not even sure about the SR I asked, maybe she made things even worse.

:(

There's a way to check if SR is raised properly.

Go to your USCIS profile --> My cases --> CLick on the case for which you raised SR. On bottom right of the page you will see the notification about the SR being raised along with SR number. If its not there, you can raise another or call USCIS again and ask them to raise for you. (This is better. Call and request to speak with L2 officer and ask them to raise SR for you)

even my case online still ( request for initial evidence mailed) for a month now... tried to call and they asked me to wait 60 days to follow and see if they received my respons!!! I have confirmation and the package was signed!

Mm in "case history" it says nothing, it is blank. And then I can't find a SR anywhere. Does this mean maybe there isn't one?

Thanks for the help!

Yeah, i am happier now (still no news though lol) but we are all in this together :)

thanks Chloe!

yeah it is weird they don't update the status online and it makes you doubt of whether they received it at all or if is missing somewhere... because you know, sometimes things happen. Sadly it happens to a little amount of us. Maybe they did receive your rfie but didn't update the online status. I think that online tool is the least of their priorities, mail is more important. So let's just wait... i know it's even worse when you see progress in other cases but not yours, I just know we will all make it til the end, some sooner and some later but we will be done with this worry.

To all! I thought about this tonight.

You know its funny how there was a time when we were so worried if our applications were received by USCIS. Then came another time when we were worried if cheques had been cashed, when will they reply?  After a while, we started talking about NOAs and text alert. Once we received all of those, we graduated to expecting biometrics letter. Now some of us are now talking interview, some EAD combo, some already did their interviews, and some still checking their mail boxes. There are some who received notices about interview last week, some this week, and some will received theirs next week and so on. This implies one thing: "TIME". everybody's time will eventually come. A time is coming that we will even be tired of working and wont remember when we were anxious and expectant. Or when we were checking the mail box everybody for some refreshing news.

Life is in phases.

I'm very happy with what I have been reading on this portal since October, my prayer is that it will continue. Congratulations to all those who have received letters of joy and congratulations in advance to those that will receive starting from tomorrow. You all are amazing.:):)

This is very nice and philosophical, thank you for sharing! Makes me feel less stressed knowing that our time will come. And regardless of anything this is just one of our journeys.

Yay we are all amazing 😎

This does really feel like we are the "class of August 2017" and moving along.

Blessed of sharing this journey with y'all.

I thought I'd do some more calculations, for those of us who are still waiting to hear anything....

This time, using the 500 cases *before* my case number (PD Aug 08):

  • 73 EAD apps. One approval on Oct 30. Rest on "case received".
  • 71 AP apps. 24 approved between Oct 26-31. Rest on "case received".

146 AOS apps:

  • 51 "ready to be scheduled for an interview" between Sept 18-Nov 1.  (35%)
  • 40 "fingerprints fee received" since Aug 11.  (27%)
  • 55 with varying RFIE/RFE/fee waived statuses (38%)
  • 1 approval (so clearly pretty rare still)

The sample is still small, so I could do another 500 cases for a total of 1000 cases if people find these helpful...

August 2017 - June 2018 AoS

April 2020 - January 2021 RoC

Jan 2022 - September 2022 Citizenship
