16th Aug, Check withdrawn
21st Aug, Three NOAs received
23rd Aug, Status checking available on USCIS website
25th Aug, Biometrics appointment letter received
5th Sep, Biometrics done
18th Oct, 'Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview' (485)
26th Oct, 'Case Was Approved' (765 and 131)
30th Oct, Two NOAs received (765 and 131)
30th Oct, 'Card Was Mailed To Me' (765 and 131)

Hey congratulations  have question  what  do I do  my case is ready for interview  what should  I carry?

Relax. If it's ready to be scheduled, that doesn't mean there's an interview date set. It'll update again once there is a date for the interview.

August 2017 - June 2018 AoS

April 2020 - January 2021 RoC

Jan 2022 - September 2022 Citizenship

Yeah I know thank you.Am just  little  nervous  don't want to miss my interview date like other people  have had saying  they missed there appointment.

Hi @adipo21 so based on the status change date I would wait few days until you receive your appointment letter and if you dont receive it (in like a week) I would call USCIS to check your interview date and general status.

8/14/17 --- AOS sent I-485, I-765, I-131

8/16/17 --- AOS Packet received Chicago USCIS Day 0

8/21/17  --- Received email & text notification 

8/23/17  --- Received hard copy of NOA  

9/01/17  --- Biometrics letter notice for I-485 & I-765 & I-131  

9/11/17  --- Biometrics Appointment Done

10/17/17 - Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

11/30/2017 - EAD/AP Approved
12/01/2017 - Card in Production
12/05/2017 - Received Approval Notice in the Mail
12/06//2017 - Card Mailed (Priority Mail) to Me
12/07/2017 - Card Received 

1/19/18  --- Interview Date 2/21

2/21/18  ---  Approved on the Spot

  • 1 hour after the interview received uscis mobile app alert
  • Status changed from "Interview is scheduled" to "New Card Is Being Produced

2/26/18  --- Received hard copy of NOA for the Green Card

2/26/18  --- USCIS Mobile Status changed to "Card was mailed to me"

2/28/18 --- Permanent Resident/Green Card received :jest:

Combo card: Card mailed: e-notification (finally)!! 04-23-2018 (priority mail)

Combo card received: AFTER 256 DAYS!!!! CARD IN HANDS  04-26-2018 happy!

I-485 GC case update: Case ready to be scheduled for an interview 04-24-2018

Interview notice: 07/21/2018

Interview date: 08/21/2018 Approved same day. Text and case status update " approved" same afternoon.

GC been produced: 08/22/2018

GC mailed: 08/25/2018 received: 08/28/2018

ROC

I-797 notice for open window: 04/22/2020

Window opened 05/21/2020

Send package : May 26th

Package received: May 29th - Text confirmation  and case number assigned June 4th

Check cashed: June 5th

June 28th and NOA ...

June 29th: called and summited a NON delivery request (never assigned)

July 10th: Received NOA extension letter

Waiting....

Since July 10th case did not change. 

March 17th 2021: New card is being produced

14th Aug: Sent the package (485, and 765,)

17th Aug: Delivered

25th Aug: Got one texts/emails

25th Aug: Check cashed 

30th  Aug: Noa mail.             

13th Sep: Biometric done

18th Sep: Ref

16th Octer: Sent back  Ref 

19th Octer:Package delivered 

26th Octer:Case status got back to review case. 

1th Nov:Case ready  for interview.

Hi, so I never thought the "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" was a big deal. Mine has that status since September 6th. Should I be worried?

 

 

I only raised an SR for my EAD around day 78 (oct 18th), no news. Should I raise an SR for AOS? Idk if I can have 2 SRs active?

Not really, mine is changed Oct 17. So the true is, now you have to wait on your local office to invite you for an interview and that will depends on how busy your office is. Some offices like mine, are taking 4 to 6 months to actually call me to a interview, some others are super fast....so it is really just a matter of time until you receive your app letter.
