Whaaaaat!?

My I-765 is approved! I did not expect this to happen so quickly at all. I haven't even looked at the status quite often.

I-131 is still 'Case was received' though. But since the combo card will be with both, I'll not worry.

When I saw the word approved, I thought I was looking at i-485 status lol so I was like, what? So, no interview? And then it was EA. USCIS! Omg! Again, I really didn't expect them to do this so quick! What's going on? I thought it is not my turn yet lol

oh and I did not expedite or do SR or anything.

4th Aug, Package sent (485, 765, 131)
8th Aug, Package delivered
15th Aug, Three texts/emails received

SIncerely, I have been so busy with school. I just keep postponing the timeline thing. My status hasn't changed since the Hurricane Harvey incident (biometrics), but I'm very optimistic about everything. Its only a matter of time, and moreover school keeps me pre-occupied, so I dont have to think too much about it.:)

Give it two more weeks, this portal is going to become very lively with EADs and interview appointments.

Thanks for asking, I appreciate that..

Hey!!! I have different PD's for my AP and EAD. I originally filed my EAD along with my packet in July but USCIS returned saying "I didnt include the proper fee for it", which was obviously a miscommunication there =( So I had to send my form again showing I didnt need a fee (which they finally accepted haha) therefore my PD for it became August 3rd.

I'm going there now in a couple of weeks, I'm so excited!! Nervous about traveling with AP from all the stuff people say but I'm hoping there wont be any hassle coming back!

Also, I forgot to say but it seems like the AP's have been getting approved around 100 days or so so I think you might be able to get it by December. I've been noticing this pattern with may, june and july filers so it shouldnt be too different for august as well =D

Congratulations to everyone who is seeing progress!  I have not heard anything else on EAD Card since I faxed them the job offer letter ,the last update which says your request to have your case expedited, referral number WKD............, was completed. Well I explained the situation to my boss, because I was not able to filled out one of the work form which requires Tax ID and SSN..my boss was nice enough to say that he will work with me until my EAD/SSN is ready.  So I have been working for the past two weeks Thnk God I got something to do that takes my mind off the work permit. Good luck everyone, by ending November we all should be hearing good news.

28-Oct-2017 My status on USCIS website changed to card production.

All in all everything went smoothly and very fast. I’ll just have to wait for the greencard and we won’t have to do anything for now until we have to file for removal of conditions. 😊

Super lucky!! Congratulations!
