Thank you! Looks like you are right - the EAD and AP usually comes in a combo card. If you have job offer or other reasons, try to call USCIS and expedite! I learned that from this forum!

I just called USCIS and told them I have a pending job offer with a start date of 11/6. I made the call on 10/10 ans received the card today.

I checked today  it updated  saying they  received  my intional request  for evidence they will continue  with  my case. They will  mail me decision or mail me if they need something  from me.

So exciting but news for me, my online status changed today for my ead and travel document - but said it was already approved on the 24th Oct. this is without any type of expedite

Nvm I just got it change too I haven’t checked when I reply I just went and checked and yes it’s changed! Now I’m surprise cuz I checked around 10:00 am and nothing it makes me thing we have same officer working our cases lol haha 😆

Whaaaaat!?

My I-765 is approved! I did not expect this to happen so quickly at all. I haven't even looked at the status quite often.

 

I-131 is still 'Case was received' though. But since the combo card will be with both, I'll not worry.

 

When I saw the word approved, I thought I was looking at i-485 status lol so I was like, what? So, no interview? And then it was EA. USCIS! Omg! Again, I really didn't expect them to do this so quick! What's going on? I thought it is not my turn yet lol

 

oh and I did not expedite or do SR or anything.
